Nearly one year after being named the Large Property Manager of the Year, Spencer Green used the gift certificate that he received to travel to Ireland with his girlfriend! Here is a recap of his trip in his own words! “When we first arrived in Dublin, Ireland, we picked up our rental car and traveled south to Kilkenny to kick off our seven day adventure. We traveled down to southern Ireland through the Wicklow mountains, and then along the “Wild Atlantic Way” (the world’s longest defined coastal driving route) over to the west coast where we drove along the Dingle peninsula, and then stopped at Inch Beach. In the same area, we went on to see the “Cliffs of Moher” in a ferry that also took us to Aran Islands, which are a group of three islands about 25 miles from the western coast of Ireland. The people who live on the islands still speak “Gaelic”. The Gaelic language is one of the oldest languages that is still spoken today. We then made our way back to the Dublin area to spend our last two nights there. We visited the Guinness Brewery and the Jameson Distillery while we were there, along with many pubs and museums. We stayed in a different Bed and Breakfast each night, in cities and towns such as Galway, Kilkenny, Blarney, and Killarney. The hosts all treated us like family and we were served a traditional Irish breakfast at each location. It was a great experience, and definitely recommended to anyone who enjoys prehistoric and early medieval sites, stunning scenery, beer, and whiskey, and of course all of the friendly Irish folk!”
